About This Site

Hello, I’m Maryna! I am currently enrolled in the SEO Tools & Analytics course at UC San Diego (UCSD), where I’m building the skills and confidence to grow into a career in digital marketing. What makes this course so valuable is that it isn’t just about theory—it’s about applying knowledge directly to a practice website, where I can experiment with the same tools and strategies professionals use every day.

On this practice website, I’ve been able to:

  • Implement Google Tag Manager (GTM) to manage and streamline tracking codes without needing constant developer involvement.
  • Leverage Google Search Console (GSC) to analyze site visibility, keyword rankings, and indexing health.
  • Configure Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand user behavior, track conversions, and monitor engagement.
  • Design dashboards in Looker Studio to present data in a way that tells a clear, actionable story.

Working with these platforms has shown me how interconnected SEO and analytics really are. Numbers alone don’t mean much until you translate them into insights—why a page is underperforming, where opportunities for growth exist, and how changes in strategy directly affect outcomes. Through this course, I’ve learned to see data not as a collection of metrics, but as a roadmap to smarter decision-making.

Looking ahead, I plan to apply these skills in a digital marketing career where I can help businesses strengthen their online presence. My goal is to be the person who can take complex analytics and make them approachable, turning data into strategies that improve visibility, boost engagement, and drive measurable results.

The practice website has been the perfect training ground, giving me the chance to test, measure, and refine in a real-world environment. With this foundation, I’m excited to continue learning, growing, and helping brands succeed in the fast-paced world of digital marketing.
